Ricardo Montalban passes away: "Ricardo Montalban, the Mexican-born actor who became a star in splashy MGM musicals and later as the wish-fulfilling Mr. Roarke in TV's 'Fantasy Island,' died Wednesday morning at his home, his family said. He was 88."
-----------
Not only Patrick McGoohan, but Ricardo Montalban as well. Montalban was another terrific actor and by all accounts a true gentleman...except when he was tormenting James T. Kirk, as Khan.

No one will ever forget Ricardo standing by, as his little friend bellowed "Da Plane, Da Plane" -- or especially when Ricardo spoke of that "Rich Corinthian Leather" -- which graced the high end vehicles of our nation's formerly propersous automakers...
Professor, once again, thank you. You have reminded us of the proverbial "good ole days" that our children will never know.
He was an original, wasn't he? The article I linked is full of detail about his life and personality. All I can say is, Hollywood doesn't seem to have many men like him these days.
