You might want to put the "invited testimony only" part in bold as well.

Isn't it interesting that in the facade of "transparency" and "open government", the legislature has a hearing on such an important topic where only "invited testimony" is permitted. The fix was in!

Who do you think was responsible for deciding that deed restrictions "needed" to imposed on others? Also, if deed restrictions have lapsed, then isn't that part of the "contract" that homeowners "sign" when they purchase the property? In other words, the purchasers were obligated to restrictions only for a certain time. Now the despots want to take that from them via deed restrictions.

Of course the municipality cannot achieve this so it must operate through the facade of achieving its objectives via entanglement with private covenants.

Rest assured the "others" whose property would be taken weren't "invited" to this hearing.

Yes, this is just one more way that the statement "You knew the rules when you bought your house--don't complain" is a LIE. How could anyone think this legislation is a good idea?

I think bold type for "invited testimony only" is worth highlighting. What does one need to do, or be, in order to receive one of those precious invitations?
