As always, the NY Times writers never want to tell us WHO is foreclosing (bank, other lender, HOA/COA/Management Co., Attorneys....! How is anyone to know if these foreclosures are legitimate? Have the property owners been notified? Are any of the foreclosures the crafty work of board member(s) and their "friends?" Not sure if it is true, but, I have heard from a good source in the North Carolina systyem, that the two worst counties in the state for the HOA/COA/CID abuses and related are Brunswick and New Hanover. Those two counties are identified in this article.
