Sen. Inhofe Calls for Inquiry Into 'Suppressed' Climate Change Report - Political News - FOXNews.com

Sen. Inhofe Calls for Inquiry Into 'Suppressed' Climate Change Report - Political News - FOXNews.com: "The 98-page report, co-authored by EPA analyst Alan Carlin, pushed back on the prospect of regulating gases like carbon dioxide as a way to reduce global warming. Carlin's report argued that the information the EPA was using was out of date, and that even as atmospheric carbon dioxide levels have increased, global temperatures have declined."

The Obama Administration can't have that report floating around just as they are getting the cap and trade bill passed.

The EPA is much like the former Soviet Union. They will try to hide information that doesn't fit in with their socialist global warming agenda dogma.

They know that the notion of anthropogenic global warming is a crock. The object here is to increase everyone's taxes and increase the power of government.

Carbon dioxide is NOT a pollutant! The legislatures of both New Zealand and Australia have defeated cap and tax plans. A new book entitled "Heaven and Earth, Global Warming: The Missing Science" by Ian Plimer is responsible for this change of opinion and will be available July 1 in the US.

Can you say "Dalton Minimum"? If we haven't yet repeated 1998's all time temperature record, it might be because solar energy output has dropped dramatically since the early 1990s to levels not seen in more than two centuries (sunspot counts correlate strongly with energy output from the sun, and complete sunspot records go back to the 1750s). The more appropriate question to ask might be why temperatures haven't plummeted -- or what will happen in the future with yet more CO2 in the atmosphere once the sun cycles back up again, as it has after previous solar minima (e.g. the Little Ice Age in the 17th and 18th centuries).

This is one issue where I must strongly disagree with this blog and urge that you give more consideration to the overwhelming scientific consensus among those who actually work with the data professionally.
