Where's the data that supports the proposition that HOAs "preserve property values"?
It's not a data-supported claim. It's part of the ridiculous, wrong headed notion that privatizing local government in the form of mandatory HOAs is a real estate or housing phenom and therefore real estate puffery applies such as "great views" "super investment" etc.
Crikey! Who would have thunk that people would actually believe such nonsense?
Global warming caused by mere mortals? HOAs protecting property values?

HOAs do protect property values.
