On vacation
I am in San Francisco with my children, visiting my sister and extended family. It is harder for me to blog here but I will put up some things whenever I have time.

Then take a day trip as follows: 1. Travel down PCH 1 to Montara Beach and check out the surf, starfish, and cliffs a little north of Half Moon Bay. 2. Travel northwards towards the city to see the sights. 3. Go to the wharf area for a Dungeness crab sandwich (if you like fresh seafood) 4. Go across Golden Gate bridge to the Marin Headlands (immediately on the north side of the bridge). This is a neat place to get several different perspectives of the ocean, the city, the bay, and the islands while checking out the remains of what used to be one of the largest military gun installations (could fire rounds 20+ miles) (Alexander (2d exit after bridge) to Bunker (left)) 5. Drive through and visit a few shops in Sausalito on your way to Muir Woods. Check out the magnificent redwoods in Muir Woods. 6. Come back to Sausalito and take a boat trip on the bay or to Angel Isand. 7. Of course there is also always Golden Gate park and/or the Exploratorium.
