Shooting Suspect Was Subject of Embezzlement Probe - washingtonpost.com: "A Herndon man shot by police in an exchange of gunfire near Springfield Mall over the weekend was the target of a high-profile investigation into the theft of $2.2 million from hundreds of condominium and homeowners associations."

Hey, who needs to license property managers. What harm can they do, anyway?

And in one of life's ironic twists, on one hand we have CAI, the realtors, the commonwealth and many others pushing for this licensing and regulation legislation and on the other we have Shu Bartholemew, one of the strongest "homeowner advocates" in Virginia traveling to Richmond to testify against it.

Far too many of these board members and obviously some management "professionals," ARE really dangerous people! Mr. Skiba, I see has a note posted here. Maybe he knows. Does Mr. Kroger or other's employed by his company hold any of CAI's certifications/credentialing?

And the answer to anonymous' question above is NO. To my knowledge neither Jeff Koger, nor his father, or any of the other officers of the company for that matter, hold any CAI designations/certifications. And the company, now called Tri-State Management and in bankruptcy liquidation, does not hold any company accreditation or certification from CAI either. The company does hold a membership in CAI at this time.
