Neighborhood Being Forced To Pay For Lawn Care - News Story - WFTV Orlando

Neighborhood Being Forced To Pay For Lawn Care - News Story - WFTV Orlando: "ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- An entire Orange County neighborhood is now being forced to pay for lawn care. The homeowners association in the Independence neighborhood in Winter Garden has decided to hire a lawn service for every homeowner.

It made the move because so many yards had grown out of control at foreclosed homes. The cost to each resident is $55 a month added to their $170 HOA fee."

This is a new one. The developer still controls the association, and he is using his power this way. Fred Pilot sent the link.

Further evidence that HOAs are regimes and not democratic organizations. In some of these HOAs, the developer never plans to leave.

The "master plan" is to continue sucking money from all the involuntary members for the benefit of the developer and affiliated vendors. There is nothing that requires the developer to give up control - ever. Ask residents who find themselves involuntary funders for the benefit of developer & affiliates for telecom, internet, propane, water, and for all maintenance contracts, etc in the subdivision.
