Former Obama opponent now suing to prove President-elect's citizenship | Breaking News, Weather, Sports and Entertainment for Georgia and South Carolina | Presidential Race Headlines: "According to a press release from the American Independent Party, former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and other members of the party have filed suit in California Superior Court in Sacramento to stop the state from giving its electoral votes to President-elect Barack Obama until documentary evidence is provided to prove Obama is indeed a natural born citizen of the United States."

Time for some comic relief. Alan Keyes ran the worst Senate campaign in American history against Obama, which is why The One was able to cakewalk into the Senate a few years ago. Now Keyes is heading up this doomed attempt to prevent the California electors from voting for Obama on December 15.

I wonder how many Americans know that Obama hasn't been elected yet? Today that is a formality, but when the Constitution was written the idea was that we chose electors, and the electors chose whoever they thought would make the best President. Could be Pee Wee Herman under that system.
