Wow. That's a pretty heavy punishment for something like this. It isn't as though he ran people down with his car for wearing McCain buttons.

Well, he was an adjunct and he's been charged with a misdemeanor, so I guess St. Olaf decided not to take chances on this one.
adjunct? I thought visiting instructor? Though I guess, same dif.
