Increases in new house prices slow down: "The housing-starts report showed that 79 per cent of all new Vancouver housing starts to the end of October - 13,325 of 16,787 - were multi-family condominium or townhouse projects."

Will this set the stage for the next wave of condo construction defect claims in Vancouver? A decade or so ago, this rainy region was full of leaky condos to such an extent the provincial government viewed it as a crisis.
