I'm really tired of scofflaws not picking up after their dogs.

The benefits of doggie forensics don't outweigh the hoa disadvantages, though.Bethnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5060417.post-78646142898767467822011-07-03T16:28:16.165-05:002011-07-03T16:28:16.165-05:00Sounds like something out of an episode of "C...Sounds like something out of an episode of "CSI:HOA"Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5060417.post-54035275244591798492011-06-30T09:52:21.852-05:002011-06-30T09:52:21.852-05:00responsible people pick up after themselves, their...responsible people pick up after themselves, their children, their pets and anyone else for whom they are responsible.

just like 90% of all laws are aimed at those who think they don't have to abide by the civil contracts of society, this appears to be aimed at those who think they don't have to behave with courtesy and common sense.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5060417.post-52549543414558307812011-06-29T17:34:12.016-05:002011-06-29T17:34:12.016-05:00This recalls the warnings that American movie goer...This recalls the warnings that American movie goers just passed off as a "good movie", not realizing that it was a harbinger of things to come. I am talking about the 1995 movie, The Colony, starring John Ritter. The subdivision's micro-management and severe control of an owner's life and property were presented, and I think it was the first movie to bring HOA issues to the attention of the public.

The Colony (CID/HOA/condo) even had the right to take your dog and have it's larynx "adjusted" so it wouldn't bark too loud and violate the noise abatement rules. The President said it was a humane procedure as it still would allow the dog to bark somewhat.

As one reviewer on Amazon commented, "Warning if you can not watch cruelty to dogs and ferns then you may find this upsetting."

Methinks these retired HOA board nmemebrs in Florida are watching too many old movis and getting bad ideas.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
